FL Region Outreach Committee

The Outreach Committee acts as a resource to groups and members in their efforts to carry the Nar-Anon message. In addition, it acts as a vital link between individuals seeking help and Nar-Anon members who share their experience, strength, and hope. The Outreach Committee's mission is to provide information regarding Nar-Anon to hospitals, institutions, agencies, and the public.

The Outreach Committe meets once a month the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6pm EST. Participants are needed! Please contact the Outreach Committee chairperson for more information, to join or for meeting ID & passcode.

Nar-Anon offers many resources to help spread awareness! "The focus of outreach is to let families and friends of addicts know that help is available. An outreach committee acts as a vital link between individuals seeking help and Nar-Anon members who share their experience, strength, and hope. Outreach assists in the growth of our local groups, areas, and regions."

The WSO Nar-Anon Outreach webpage, https://www.nar-anon.org/outreach, offers members a wide variety of resources to facilitate outreach services and carry Nar-Anon's message of hope. The some of the downloadable PDFs are step by step, (how-to) for distributing literature in the community, creating information packets for individuals, professionals, how to post Nar-Anon info to classified ads, and reaching out through special local events are just a few examples.
