If you are interested in becoming a member of the Helpline, please contact the Helpline. The helpline assists callers in finding a meeting or to make sure of whether a meeting is open or closed on a holiday. The helpline is not for reporting emergencies. In case of emergency, the proper authorities should be notified.
Narateen is a recovery program for young people whose family and friends are suffering from the disease of addiction based on the 12 Steps, 12 Traditions and 12 Concepts of Nar-anon.
Because Narateen members are minors, there are special considerations needed to make sure their meeting is a safe space for them to share their experience, strength and hope. The Nar-anon World Service Office has provided some guidelines through the Narateen Safety Guidelines (S-332), the Guide to Local Services, and the Guide to World Services. Contact the Narateen Committee Chairperson for more information.
Website Committee meets via conference call on the 3rd Sunday of the month @ 7pm. To join or get more information, contact the Website Committee Chairperson.
The primary purpose of the Florida Region Nar-Anon Website is outreach. Our mission/goal is to provide easy-to-find, consistent, up-to-date information regarding meetings and other information for the fellowship in the Florida Region. The NFG Website Handbook provides the Florida Region Website Committee the guidance to develop the FL Region website. The Florida Regional Committee delegates the responsibility to maintain the regional website to the website committee.
